The Urban Blossom Floral Art Studio & Urban Lounge

The Urban Blossom Floral Art Studio was started in 2005 by Marcella Vantarakis and Shana Thomas. Years of experience in design conceptualization, event production, advertising, marketing, branding and two expansive art portfolios, Marcella and Shana have created art concepts within flowers that has made waves from New York to L.A.

Announced in 2009, the Addison Circle, Floral Art Studio location will be renovated into a mirrored creation of The Urban Lounge, in Uptown Dallas. Included in this state of the art consultation experience, clients will have access to exclusive chocolate lines, high end organic teas, truly unique boutique styles of a variety of vase lines (for daily orders, events and weddings), handmade jewelry, candles, organic bath & body lines, and other accent gifts perfect for additions to a daily floral order or inspiring event & wedding gifts and favors.

In 2008, The Urban Lounge | A Floral Experience, was launched in Uptown Dallas. Pictured on the right, The Urban Lounge is an upscale floral consultation experience. Clients will be treated to wine, beverages and sweets as they begin their floral conceptualization plans for weddings, rehearsal dinners, bridal showers, intimate events and social gatherings. The production and retail boutique is located at the Addison Circle location.

The Urban Blossom's approach to event floral design is detailed, multifaceted and keeps the client at the core to every aspect of the event. "Thinking Outside The Vase" is a phrase you will hear often in their studio.

Marcella and Shana have formed a team of designers and production crew that are extremely talented, innovative, creative and imaginative. The Urban Blossom takes an event branding approach to each new project. It's not just about the flowers, it's about the design, the tablescape, every detail that is so important to a client that must come together.
